Gather squads of punishers. Russia is preparing in case of riots in Crimea due to the war in Ukraine

The occupying power in Crimea is seriously preparing in case of popular protest against the war in Ukraine. In the Russian Federation, they are afraid that the inhabitants of the peninsula will stage rebellions due to the constant use of the territory as a base for an offensive.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the message of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.

“Fearing resistance to Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine among the residents of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the occupier urgently creates several new punitive ‘police’ units in Sevastopol,” she said.

According to Denisova, a department has already been opened in Inkerman, Kazachya Bay is next in line.

“An additional 500 surveillance cameras are also being installed in Sevastopol,” the commissioner for human rights added.

Denisova recalls that Russia is constantly using the Crimean peninsula as a base for building up and deploying equipment and manpower in the war in Ukraine. According to Denisova, in the village of Filatovka, Krasnoperekopsky district, an accumulation of Russian military equipment was noticed, including anti-aircraft and missile systems.

“Its number has increased significantly in recent days,” she said.

Recall that the enemy deployed 6 ships and 2 submarines with cruise missiles off the Ukrainian coast in the Black Sea. All of them are on alert for missile strikes and are equipped with more than 50 cruise missiles.

It was from them that the Russian invaders carried out shelling of the Odessa region on May 9.
