A world with cars and trucks that don’t run on gas is becoming more of a reality, thanks to the likes of Tesla  (TSLA) – Get Report, Ford  (F) – Get Report and other automakers who are rolling out electric vehicles en masse. But there are other options besides batteries to make cars, trucks and other things run without oil and gas – and run in ways that produce “net-zero” emissions.

Paddy Lowe, Director of London-based Zero Petroleum sits down with TheStreet’s Corey Goldman to talk chemistry, electrification and why a 70-year-old science that can make gas, diesel, jet fuel and even plastics from recycled water, carbon-dioxide and renewable electricity, is now ready for all-out commercialization.
